Karas - Anime

"Karas" is a 6 part Anime OAV series currently being released in Japan - 3 have been released so far. It basically deals with the balance between Youkai and humans which is guarded by "Karas" and is currently being broken by a former Karas.

The graphics are stunning and the use of 3D animation together with 2D drawings manges to bring the whole to life while maintaining the dark surreal atmosphere that surrounds the world of the Youkai.
